Welcome to the Rooted Ministries Family…

Anika is a woman of God who comes from New Zealand.

She is currently in Cape Town taking the YWAM second level School of Biblical Studies (SBS), having been serving with us here at YWAM Rooted following her graduation from our first Discipleship Training School (DTS) in December 2021.

She is a real prayer warrior, who loves all aspects of outdoor life, meeting new people, and discipleship.

Anika is a very talented and creative individual.

Simon and Yanil are originally from England and Argentina respectively, but met in YWAM Mendoza (Argentina) in early 2008, where they were both working and serving before and after getting married in late 2010.

In late 2015 they moved to the United Kingdom (UK) to work and serve together with YWAM Holmsted Manor (England). In early 2020 the family moved continents again to Africa, where they were staying with YWAM Blantyre (Malawi) whilst transitioning toward their ‘Promised Land’ of Zimbabwe, before commencing the work of re-establishing a new YWAM location here in Harare.
