Location: The Republic of Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia, is a landlocked country located in southern Africa, between the Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers, bordered by South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and Mozambique.

Capital: HARARE – Zimbabwe’s capital city of Harare serves as the country’s political, economic and cultural centre, and has a population of more than 1.6 million in the city and 2.8 million in the metropolitan area.

Harare is the largest city; with the second largest being Bulawayo – which has a population of roughly half the size of the capital.

Language: Zimbabwe has 16 official languages, with English, Shona, and Ndebele the most commonly used.

Religion: Protestant Christianity 63% – Roman Catholic Christianity 17% – Traditional African Believes 11 % – Atheist 7% – Islam 1 % – Others less 1%

The African Ancestral Beliefs are mixed with Christian beliefs and values in some communities, and this can be found in the daily life decisions of some Christian people.
